Congratulations to Jay & Madonna Williams, and thanks to all who celebrated innovation at the library, and supported literacy and lifelong learning.

About the Event

Thank you for celebrating our esteemed honorees and supporting the transformative nature of public libraries. The 30th Anniversary Fundraiser raised $335,000 to support lifelong learning programs for 2 million annual Milwaukee Public Library visitors. Many thanks to foundation donors who have partnered with Milwaukee Public Library for 30 years! It’s because of you that the library has been able to adapt, expand services, and introduce innovation.

About the Event

We had a wonderful evening of socializing at Central Library, and learned about the positive impact that Milwaukee Public Library is having in our community.

You can still join Lawyers for Libraries and be recognized for a lifetime on the donor recognition wall at the new library development project coming soon to Good Hope Road in Milwaukee.

About Lawyers for Libraries

Milwaukee Public Library is at the heart of our community and justice is at the heart of our democracy. The Lawyers for Libraries Society provides integral support for the Library’s mission to inspire lifelong learning, advance knowledge, and strengthen our neighborhoods. The group is comprised of local attorneys representing Milwaukee’s top law firms who value the library’s essential services and programs in the community. Throughout the year, Lawyers for Libraries members are invited to special events, including a Lawyers for Libraries Member Social.
